I'm exceptionally skilled at creating and translating corporate strategy into written and video/film-based work that awakens and engages audiences across digital and traditional platforms: campaigns, brand videos, websites, one-off commercials, ad copy. I strategically consult and develop brand strategies (positioning, messaging and brand architecture) that roll into brand identities.
I'm a freelancer and independent contractor who brings rich, deeply meaningful experience to bear within my client engagements. My background is ad agency, having worked for three amazing firms (Connors Communications, Allison & Partners and Zer0 to 5ive) across four cities (Minneapolis, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Philadelphia), Moving to Santa Fe has deepened my creativity. You should visit.
In 2005, I collaborated with Partner Emeritus, Deloitte., and Chief Trust Officer, Unisys Tom Patterson, to write Mapping Security: The Corporate Security Sourcebook for Today's Global Economy. It was a genre-breaking success that highlighted the physical, information-based and emotional intelligence-rich approach to successful cross border business.
I earned a bachelor's degree in communications and production from Asbury University (Kentucky) and a master's degree in communications with an emphasis in creative non-fiction from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I’ve also studied at The Living School for Action & Contemplation (Albuquerque).
I maintain a global client base. I'm a Philadelphia <insert sport here>, Tottenham Hotspur and Thomas Merton fan. I bleed Tennessee orange. I'm married with two young kids and two cats. One of the cats has a thyroid condition. If you have read to this point, you understand I love a good non-sequitor.
